This is a great shop. They do great work and are very honest; they will not recommend any work you don't need. I will be using them for all my vehicles.

My car sitting one month. After one month I try to start but not starting. I did jump but no start. I brought new bettery but no start then I call Half Price Auto Repairer owner and his name is JOHN and he did work very reliable price and fix problem right way. Best place for customer service and HONESTY and best price!!!! I'm warning you don't get played by the competition they r crooks and not very nice or honest!!! Without getting into details I came to half-price auto after a big problem at the competion and Half Price Auto went above and beyond and I will never go anywhere else neither will my family!!! Don't let the name make you nervous, these guys do great work for a great price. My son's car needed a clutch put in it and I took it first to another shop in town. Got a really high quote so I called around and found Half-Price Auto. True to their name, their quote for the exact same work was almost half what that other shop quoted me. They were great working with me to get the car in quickly, they did the whole job in one day and were proactive in reaching out to me about another item they felt should be replaced at the same time to save me money. A+++ all around.

Don't let the name give you a bad impression, these guys are awesome and do great work. My son's car needed a clutch. I took it to another shop in town who quoted $1,900!! I knew that was way to high for a clutch so I shopped around and found Half-price Auto. They were great from the start. They worked with me to get the car in right away, they diagnosed it for free (the other shop charged me $78 just to diagnose the problem), and they fixed it in a day. Their price was $975 (well a little more after we added in replacing the starter right away too). The work was done well and they were very proactive in contacting me throughout. John, who I spoke to multiple times over the phone and in person, is super friendly. The facilities itself are pretty old-school as far as what you'd expect from an auto shop, but they do have a nice comfortable waiting room. I honestly can't think of anything negative about my experience with them. I highly recommend folks check them out.

Awesome experience with great service, took my Honda in for a "check battery light" They ran tests, and found out that it was a simple cable unplugged. Told me that they weren't going to charge me. Great people! Thank you Craig and John. I will be coming back

Been doing business with half-price auto for few years now. I can say without a doubt they are the most trustworthy and best mechanics in town. Highly recommended!

This place is great. I started going there about 10 years ago when I was told by a different auto shop that I needed a new battery before winter. When I took my car in to half price auto a few days later and told the owner I needed a new battery, he took my car and about 10 minutes later came out to inform me that my battery was fine (sure enough, it made it through winter with no problem). Since I know nothing of cars, I appreciate knowing that they aren't just going to provide unnecessary services because it would be easy to take my money.

Six stars if that's possible... I took my truck into Half Price Auto for a checkup before taking a long trip. Fortunately, they were able to identify some problems in the front end (ball joints, etc.) that they were able to fix before my trip. I now feel much more secure and confident that my truck will get me there safely. No one wants a breakdown on the road! Although it was a big fix, the bill was very reasonable. They even told me to put some miles on it and they'd check things again before I departed. I can't recommend them highly enough, John the owner, and his skilled staff, Phil, Anthony (and Anthony's cousin), and Mary, who ably runs the desk. Do yourself a favor and go here before the word gets out. I would too, but I'm from out of state.
